Cancellation Terms

These cancellation terms govern the cancellation of participation in the one-day workshop “za:den”. They are disclosed to the participant before purchase and accepted by submitting the reservation.

1. Legal basis

The workshop is a leisure-time / educational service provided on a specific date. Under Section 1837(j) of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Czech Civil Code, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from a distance contract does not apply to it. The cancellation terms below therefore apply in full.

2. Cancellation fees

If the participant cancels, part of the price is refunded depending on how many days before the date the cancellation is notified:

14 days or more in advance

80% of the price refunded

13–7 days in advance

50% of the price refunded

6–3 days in advance

20% of the price refunded

less than 3 days in advance or no-show

0% of the price refunded

3. Transferring the date and substitute participant

Instead of cancelling, the participant may — with prior notice and free of charge — transfer their booking to another announced date, or send a substitute participant in their place. This is a fair alternative to the cancellation fee.

4. Cancellation by the provider

If the provider cancels the date (for example due to too few participants), the participant is entitled to a 100% refund or a free transfer to another date of their choice.

5. How to cancel

Notify cancellation, a date transfer, or a substitute participant in writing at zaden@pracovna.cz. The date the notice is delivered to the provider is decisive. Refunds are paid to the account the payment was made from, usually within 14 days.
